INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE COLLECT IT
In order to facilitate your experience, and manage our business, we collect and maintain personal information about you. The Company collects personal information from many sources to understand and meet your needs. We collect information about you from:
- You, when you voluntarily provide us with information, for example, when you register as a member of the AmeriGO RV Club or create an account with this Site or an Affiliated Site, or when you purchase or otherwise obtain products or services from or through the Program, this Site or an Affiliated Site;
- Your browser, or your computer, mobile phone, tablet computer or other wireless device or computer (collectively, “Device”), when you visit this Site or an Affiliated Site and your browser or Device interacts with us; and
- Your transactions and interactions with affiliates, partners, sponsors and service providers.
The personal information we collect about you through these various sources may include, but is not limited to:
- Name, address, telephone number, date of birth (DOB), country and city of residence, gender and other information related to the Program;
- E-mail addresses, fax numbers, text, SMS and similar messaging numbers, and pager numbers, Program member number, login username, password, password hint and display name;
- Usage, viewing and technical data, including your browser, operating system, software, and/or IP address or other Device identifier, when you visit this Site and/or an Affiliated Site or open emails or view messages we send;
- Credit/debit card numbers, including associated billing addresses and expiration dates;
- Transactional and online activity data;
- Information concerning your interests and/or your use of products and services;
- Personal information provided via survey, focus groups or other marketing research efforts; and
- Personal information provided to customers-service representatives to research and resolve issues or question.
You may also be able to submit information about other people. For example, you might submit a person’s name and e-mail address or messaging number to send an electronic greeting card or message or to make a gift of a Program membership, and, if you order a gift online and want it sent directly to the recipient, you might submit the recipient’s name and address. The types of personally identifiable information that may be collected about other people at these pages include: recipient’s name, address, e-mail address, and telephone (and/or text, SMS or other messaging) number.
Depending on the service, you may be asked for additional information to properly service your membership in the Program. For those benefits that require you to submit a reimbursement/rebate claim, you will be required to complete a form requesting the information needed to process the claim. Depending on the type of claim and the circumstances surrounding the claim, additional documentation may be required. In some cases, when a claim is submitted to us, the data is transferred to a partner for processing. The claim information submitted and the claim status can be reviewed or updated by sending an e-mail to email@example.com. Only persons who provide us with the requested personal information may be able to order or obtain products and services or otherwise participate in the Program’s activities, benefits and offerings.
In addition to obtaining your personal information when you submit it to us, we may collect tracking information such as your browser type, Device type, the type of operating system or other software you use, the name of your Internet or mobile service provider, and the pages, content, and features visited on this Site, an Affiliated Site or the web sites of our affiliates, partners, sponsors or service providers. The Company obtains this information to improve the functionality and user-friendliness of this Site and Affiliated Sites and to better tailor this Site and Affiliated Sites to our the needs of members and users. We also use this information to verify that visitors meet the criteria required to process requests. We may collect it for reporting onsite activity in the aggregate. For example, we may want to know how long the average user spends on this Site and Affiliated Sites or which pages, content or features get the most attention.
COOKIES, IP ADDRESSES, DEVICE IDENTIFIERS, CLICK-STREAM DATA, SESSION DATA AND WEB BEACONS
To enhance your experience with this Site and Affiliated Sites, we may use “cookies” and/or similar technologies. Cookies are text files we place in Device’s browser to store your preferences. Cookies, by themselves, do not tell us your e-mail address or other personal information unless you choose to provide this information to us by, for example, registering at one of this Site or an Affiliated Site. When analyzed, this data helps us analyze how visitors arrive at this Site and Affiliated Sites, what type of content and features are most popular, what type of visitors in the aggregate are interested in particular kinds of content and advertising, and the like.
“Web beacons” or “clear .gifs” are small pieces of code placed on a web page or in content to monitor the behavior and collect data about the visitors viewing a certain web page or certain content. For example, web beacons or similar technologies can be used to count the users who visit a certain web page or certain content or to deliver a cookie or similar code to the browser or Device of a visitor viewing that page or content. We may also use web beacons and similar technologies, provided by our ad serving partner, to help manage our online advertising. These web beacons and similar technologies enable our ad server to recognize a browser’s cookie or similar code when a browser or Device visits this Site and/or Affiliated Sites and to learn which advertisements or listings bring users to this Site and/or Affiliated Sites. The information we collect and share through this technology does not identify you personally.
We may also provide survey questionnaires and track your traffic patterns, benefit and feature usage and preferences in a personally identifiable manner, in order to enhance your use and enjoyment of this Site and/or Affiliated Sites and better service your membership in the Program, personalize your service and develop additional benefits, offers, products, services, content and features that will be of interest to you.
Any information gathered from click data, benefit usage, surveys, preferences, log files, cookies and other ways you interact with this Site and/or Affiliated Sites is aimed at enhancing your use and enjoyment of the Program, this Site and/or Affiliated Sites, servicing your membership in the Program and/or account with this Site and/or Affiliated Sites, helping us develop the design and layout of this Site and/or Affiliated Sites, and determining additional benefits, content, features, products, services and offers that may be of value to members and users. Any information gathered from refund/rebate claim forms that you submit is used to service your claims.
NETWORK TRAFFIC LOGS
In the course of ensuring network security and consistent service for all users, the Company employs software programs to do such things as monitor network traffic, identify unauthorized access or access to nonpublic information, detect computer viruses and other software that might damage our computers or the network, and monitor and tune the performance of this Site and Affiliated Sites, and our network. In the course of such monitoring, these programs may detect such information as e-mail headers, addresses from network packets, and other information. Information from these activities is used only for the purpose of maintaining the security and performance of our this Site and Affiliated Sites, and our networks and computer systems.
OUR COMMITMENT TO CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of children. For this reason, we do not collect or maintain information from children we know are under the age of thirteen (13) except as permitted by law. The Company also encourages parents to discuss the Internet with their children and monitor personal information that a child may provide via the Internet.
HOW WILL THIS INFORMATION BE USED
The Company does not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties except to the extent required by law or otherwise in compliance with this Policy. Specifically, please note the following:
We may use the information you provide about yourself to fulfill your requests for our products, programs and services, to respond to your inquiries about our offerings, and to offer you other products, advertisements, programs or services (including products and services and promotional offers of third parties) or our other partners, that we believe may be of interest to you.

The Company may also provide your personal information to certain program sponsors and partners and other contracting parties for their use in connection with the Program and for their independent marketing and/or analytic purposes. In addition to the above, we sometimes contract with other companies and individuals (for instance, our service providers) to perform functions on our behalf or otherwise in connection with the Program, such as hosting this Site and our other websites, distributing promotions or sweepstakes, performing marketing surveys, focus groups or interviews, fulfilling and administering Program benefits (including fulfilling services and products obtained through the Program), or promoting other opportunities offered by the Program. As such, we may be required to exchange information, which may include your e-mail address and text, SMS and other similar messaging numbers, with one or more of these suppliers in order to ensure that you are able to use this Site and/or Affiliated Sites and the services, products, content, benefits, features and benefits of the Program, this Site and/or Affiliated Sites when you choose to do so. The information exchanged for such purposes is limited to what is required to meet this purpose.
As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy assets. In such transactions, user information generally is one of the transferred business assets. MANAGING E-MAIL AND TEXT, SMS AND SIMILAR COMMUNICATIONS
While a member of the Program, you cannot opt out of emails, text, SMS and similar messages related to, and the sharing of information with third parties which is required to enable, your Program membership or Program benefits, features, content, services or products (including your use of this Site and Affiliated Sites and the provision of Program related offers to you). If you no longer wish to receive such communications and messages and/or permit such information sharing, you must cancel your Program membership by contacting our Member Service Center at 1-800-737-9985.
We would like to keep you informed about email, text, SMS and similar communications from third parties that do not relate to your Program membership or Program services, products, features, content or benefits. Choose either telephone or email option, or both. DISCUSSION FORUM AND CHAT ROOM USE
If you participate in a message board, chat room, comment, review or other web discussion forum, messaging feature, or any similar feature you should be aware that the information you provide there will, by the very nature of the use of these forums or features, be made available to others, potentially inside and outside of the Company and its affiliates. We cannot ensure the security of any information you choose to make public on, in or via these forums and features. Also, we cannot ensure that parties who have access to such publicly available information will respect your privacy. Please exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information (including your location) on, in or via these forums or features. Also, please recognize that these forums and features may have additional rules and conditions. Each participant’s opinion expressed on, in or via these forums or features is his or her own and should not be considered as reflecting the opinion of the Company.
The information we collect in connection with these forums and features is used to provide an interactive experience. We use this information to facilitate participation in these forums and features and, from time to time, to offer you products, features, contents, benefits, programs, or services. Information security is important to the Company. We maintain reasonable physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in an effort to protect personal information and we regularly review our security standards and procedures to protect against unauthorized access to personal information. We cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us through electronic means.
