Here’s how the AmeriGO RV Protection Plan works: if your RV breaks down anywhere in the U.S. or Canada, simply take it to a service center of your choice. You may call our toll free number for a list of AmeriGO Preferred Service Centers in your area. The repair center will call our toll-free number and the AmeriGO claims staff can discuss the repairs with your repair facilities technician on your behalf. Once repairs are approved and the work is completed on your coach to your satisfaction, we can pay the service center directly via credit card over the phone.

Q: What if I break down when the AmeriGO Protection Plan claims office is closed?
You have the option to follow the same steps without receiving prior authorization from AmeriGO Protection Plan. If you follow this course of action, be sure to call us the next business days from the date of your repairs, and we will assist you as submitting a claim and getting reimbursement in compliance with the Terms and Conditions of your AmeriGO Protection Plan contract. (Please note: We recommend waiting until our claims office is open so you can obtain authorization first. This also allows direct payment to your service center for covered repairs.)

Q: Is labor covered?
Yes, both parts and labor are included for coverage on all covered component RV repairs. For non-covered repairs or maintenance, AmeriGO Protection Plan does not assume the cost of parts and labor. .
Q: If my vehicle is disabled, does AmeriGO Protection Plan tow it to a service center?
Yes, for towing and other roadside assistance please call the road side assistance phone number listed on the bottom of your contract. Please ask your authorized AmeriGO Protection Plan representative about our unlimited towing option for covered component repairs.
Q: Do I pay a deductible per each item repaired in one visit to a repair facility?
You pay one deductible per failure occurrence, not per single repair. Therefore, even with multiple repairs, you still pay one low deductible per occurrence.
Q: How much is my deductible?
For Motorhomes, Travel Trailers, Pop Up’s, Campers and Truck Campers you may select a deductible of $100, $250, $500.

Q: Is an inspection required in order to activate my AmeriGO Protection Plan contract?
No, an inspection is not required to activate coverage from AmeriGO Protection Plan. Your AmeriGO Protection Plan has a simple 30 day or 1,000 mile waiting period (whichever occurs first)
Q: What if my vehicle has a pre-existing condition?
As with all vehicle service contracts and insurance plans, AmeriGO Protection Plan does not cover pre-existing conditions that exist prior to purchasing coverage.
Q: I want to buy a new RV and sell my old one—is the AmeriGO Protection Plan transferable?
Yes, your AmeriGO Protection Plan is fully transferable. If you’re selling your vehicle privately, you can transfer AmeriGO Protection Plan once to the new owner for a reasonable transfer fee.
Q: Where am I covered by the AmeriGO Protection Plan?
You are covered at a licensed and insured repair facility in the U.S. and Canada.
Q: Do I have to be an AmeriGO member to get a quote?
No. You do not have to be a valued AmeriGO Club member to get a quote. Though, when you purchase the AmeriGO Protection Plan, you will become a member of the AmeriGO club instantly with a free-one year membership. Simply call 1-866-628-7226.
Q: If I purchase the AmeriGO Protection Plan today and change my mind tomorrow, can I get my money back?
Yes. If you cancel your AmeriGO Protection Plan within the first 30 days, AmeriGO will refund you 100% of your AmeriGO Protection Plan premium paid, less any claims paid. If you cancel past 30 days, you get a pro-rated refund for the time not used on your protection plan less a reasonable $50 Cancellation Fee.

In the event of a claim:
- Prevent further damage – Take immediate action to prevent further damage. This agreement will not cover the damage caused by continued operation or by not securing a timely repair of the failed component.
- Take your vehicle to a licensed repair facility – If your vehicle breaks down, return to the seller of the contract or independent repair facility.
- Provide repair facility with a copy of your agreement and/or your agreement number.
- Obtain authorization from the administrator at 1-866-628-7226 – Prior to any repair being made, instruct the service managers at the repair facility to contact the administrator to obtain an authorization for the claim. Any claim for repairs without prior authorization for the claim. The amount authorized by the administrator is the maximum amount that will be paid for repairs covered under the terms of this agreement. An additional amount must receive prior approval.
- Authorize teardown and/or inspection – You may need to authorize the repair facility to inspect and/or teardown your vehicle in order to determine the cause and cost of the repair. We reserve the right to inspect your vehicle prior to any repair being made.
- Review coverage – After the administrator has been contacted, review with the service manager what will be covered by this agreement.
- Pay any applicable deductible – You must pay the repair facility any deductible per repair visit. We will reimburse the repair facility or you for the cost of the work performed on your vehicle that is covered by this agreement less the deductible. We will make every effort to arrange for reimbursement with the repair facility directly. Once authorization is obtained and the repair is completed, all repair orders and documentation must be submitted to the administrator within 60 days to be eligible for payment.
